Now is always the time for a new beginning
Whether or not you're a fan of Pinterest style positive quotes, you can't avoid the sense behind 'One day or day one', can you?
According to the Cambridge Dictionary, the meaning of resolution is:-
- 'a promise to yourself to do something or not to do something'.
So, when it comes to habits, there's a few things you could do to get things moving in the right direction.
1) Check your habits - start a journal, keep a note of what you're doing, how you're feeling. detail your inner chatter. What words and thoughts keep popping up?
2) Refocus your habits - create a list called 'How I'm creating my lovely life'. Think of 10 things including:-
- some things you love doing
- some things you dislike doing but must do
- some things you've been putting off
- " Is how I'm behaving and feeling helping me lead the life I'm trying to create ?"
Try it and let me know how you get along.
NLP is an essential addition to focus on what's important when going through a cancer diagnosis.
As an NLP Master Practitioner focusing on health, I help people everyday to focus on their physical and mental wellbeing. This is especially useful when going through a cancer diagnosis or any life-changing illness.

As an NLP Master Practitioner Life Coach, my work with children and families is very rewarding. I help children of all ages build their self-esteem from the inside out, giving them life-skills to deal with challenges and obstacles.
I also help parents teach their children how to stick up for themselves, build their resilience, to have a voice and be able to use it safely.
Everyone learns more about themselves and what's important to them.
They learn positive ways to deal with strong feelings, anxiety, stress, fear and shame.
